hypnosis for creatives

For Creatives Who Feel Stuck.

Come home to the creative magic within yourself.

Deep work to release the fear, self-doubt, and other unconscious patterns keeping your best work from the world.

Short process, Permanent shift.

No experience with hypnotherapy needed. Just a willingness to show up for yourself.

Does any of this feel familiar?

You feel stuck. Not because the ideas aren't there, but because they don't often make it out of your head. There was a time when creating felt natural and easy, and somewhere along the way, that changed.

Now there's an inner critic waiting at the blank page, telling you it's not good enough before you've even started. Or the overthinking that talks you out of a perfectly fine idea. Maybe you find yourself looking at other people's work and feeling behind, or noticing that what you're making has more to do with pleasing others than what you actually want to say.

Even when you do finish something, there's still the question of what to do with it. The folder of things you've made but never shared. The post you wrote and then deleted. That feeling in your stomach right before you hit publish, wondering if anyone will care, or what they'll think.

You know what you have to offer. It's just that the space between having something to say and actually putting it out into the world can feel very far.

If you nodded at any of that - you're in the right place.

On the other side of this work

Imagine sitting down to create and finding the ideas waiting for you. No more doing everything else first, no more bargaining with an empty page. You sit down, and your creativity flows, because the resistance that used to block you has dissolved.

The inner critic is no longer running rampant, instead you hear a supportive inner dialogue. Your imagination, which used to focus on disaster, is now oriented towards possibility. And when you finish a piece, you can share it, and confidently charge what the work is actually worth.

This is what the work makes possible.

What we work on together

Releasing fear & perfectionism

The fear of judgment, of not being good enough, of being seen and found wanting, is one of the most common things we work with. We shift these patterns at the root, so perfect stops being the price of entry, and creating becomes an act of joy, play, and real experimentation again.

Finding your creative voice

If you've been creating to please, to be safe, or to be liked, we reconnect you to the voice that's most authentically yours, the one that's been waiting underneath the performance. It's the work only you could make, once the fear and the people-pleasing loosen their grip.

Breaking through blocks & inertia

Procrastination, creative paralysis, the endless loop of starting and not finishing. We work with the underlying thoughts and emotions that keep you stuck, to create real, lasting momentum and a healthier relationship with your creative process.

Taming the inner critic

That voice that tells you the work isn't good enough, that you aren't good enough. We use hypnosis to shift the emotional charge of that critical voice, so feedback becomes useful instead of crushing, and something you can put to good use.

Flow states & creative confidence

Learning to access the creative zone on demand, instead of waiting for inspiration to find you. This is state management for a more resourceful, more creative life, available whenever you need it..

Self-worth, visibility & receiving

Charging what you're worth, being seen without apology, receiving praise without deflecting. These outer shifts become possible once the inner ones happen first, when your sense of worth stops depending on anyone else's approval.

Why hypnosis?

You've probably already tried things that work at the level of conscious understanding, and found yourself meeting the same wall. The patterns that keep creatives stuck aren't housed in the thinking mind. They're older, often formed before you had words for them, running quietly in the background. Hypnosis helps us get to that layer.

In a session, you’re present and aware the whole time. Hypnosis is not really like sleep, and unlike the misleading tropes, it’s a process that gives you greater control as you can access deeper information and patterns that are difficult to reach otherwise. The state feels closer to deep meditation or being really absorbed in a good book: calm, focused, and clear. Most people feel rested and refreshed afterwards, and often lighter than they expected.

For creative people specifically, the imagination isn't incidental to this work,  it's essentially the medium. The same faculty that makes your inner world so rich is often what makes anxiety so vivid and convincing. Hypnosis allows us to work with that directly, which means the work tends to land somewhere words alone don't quite reach.

Why I do this work

Creative expression has been woven into my life from an early age: playing musical instruments, making ceramics, painting and drawing, photography, sewing costumes, designing for a laser cutter and more. For me, it was never about a single medium, rather the process itself. Bringing something into existence, exploring the possibilities of the material, giving form to an idea… this has always felt both profound and as ordinary as breathing.

Along my own creativity journey, I’ve experienced my share of challenges. Feeling unworthy to share my work. Getting approval confused with inspiration. Allowing myself to prioritize something society often deems frivolous. I know many of these knots from the inside.

When I discovered hypnosis, something started to click. I realized that working with the unconscious mind is the ultimate medium. It’s the very place where creativity originates, and where that creative capacity I’ve spent years developing can help me create tangible, lasting changes to my experience of life. Now nearly a decade into my practice using these tools to help others as well as myself, I am still deeply, genuinely delighted with what becomes possible when we collaborate and bring our whole creative selves into this work.

Working with the unconscious mind is the ultimate medium.

What clients say

"Working with Lara Lenore was incredibly valuable and enjoyable. As an artist, it's easy for me to visualize things in my mind, so I really enjoyed the mental image exercises that Lara used as a way to tap into the subconscious. I still think about some of them-- what was on those imaginary walls in the gallery for example, and the colors and words that emerged. Her work helped me to access some deep memories and feelings that have often held me back in my art and business and unlock them a bit. Lara also taught me some techniques to help move through emotions and negative associations on my own, which I have found very valuable tools. I had no idea what to expect with hypnotherapy, but it was fascinating and not difficult or weird at all. I highly recommend working with Lara Lenore!"

“ I went to Lara, hoping to reinstate my creative writing spark. I hadn’t realized I’d get emotional talking about it, but I didn’t feel weird crying in front of Lara because she exudes a gentle, accepting presence. I appreciated how she prepared me for the process, explaining hypnosis in terms I could understand, and answering my questions. She used a number of visualization techniques, and I enjoyed seeing where her questions took me in the field of my mind. I was delighted by how surprised I was during the process of discovery and creation. I found I knew more about my writing issue than I was consciously aware of, and at the end of the session, I felt hopeful. It’s been a couple of months since that session, and I have written more in that time than I have in the past two years combined. “Grateful” doesn’t cover it!”

Carol C.

“Before seeing Lara, I had never done hypnosis and only really knew of the cliché of people being made to cluck like chickens onstage… I was surprised at how quickly I trusted her, despite some initial skepticism about hypnosis. Something unlocked almost immediately in Lara's care. Each session brought unexpected emotions to the surface, and I often found myself shedding tears I hadn’t realized were waiting to be released…My issue resolved–a huge relief. But beyond that, I walked away with something even more powerful–a sense of empowerment and self-awareness, like I had discovered a hidden key to my own well-being. It wasn’t just hypnosis, it was a kind of magic I didn’t know I needed. Thank you, Lara!

"Lara didn't just help me heal from a painful loss. She helped me to remember who I am underneath it, and guided me to re-discover my voice and creative fire. If you've misplaced yours, for whatever reason, you need to book a session with her. Now."

Ariana O.

“I got a lot of benefit from working with Lara, and I highly recommend her to anyone wanting to try hypnotherapy. She is warm and kind, but also focused, and keeps the session on track. I feel like I made great gains in the things I wanted to work on in a short course of sessions. I would definitely go back if I needed a tune-up, but so far, the benefits have stayed. I am very happy with the treatment I received.”

Donna S

“ Lara Lenore is a gifted hypnotherapist. In a single session, her skillful use of hypnosis and EFT read me of a limiting belief that I have had since childhood… I am no longer held back by that belief! Thank you, Lara!”
